As I checked my email this morning I discovered a great surprise was waiting for me! Sweet Wendy Eustache from A Flair For Fashion blog awarded me the VERSATILE BLOGGER AWARD. Wow, isn't it nice when someone recognizes the work you're doing - especially if your blog is still quite fresh with just a few readers so far? And I think Versatile Blogger Award is simply a great way to spread the love about yours and other great blogs in such a simple, reciprocal manner.
So with pleasure I comply with the rules of the Award which are as follows:

7 THINGS ABOUT ME
1. I'm a journalist and writer from Kyiv, Ukraine, currently residing in Athens, Greece.
2. My approach to fashion is mostly practical: I get inspired by top designers, and then recreate pieces I like with help of inexpensive brands, outlets and second hand/vintage shops.
3. I love movies as well as fashion and often mix up those two in my blog posts.
4. I prefer jeans to all other kinds of pants (for perfect fit), dresses to skirts (somehow never had much luck with skirts) and adore shorts above all.
5. I love beautiful high-heeled shoes (the more original the better) on other people, but still haven't learned to wear them myself (they give me fear of falling)
6. I hate logo prints, which include the cult Louis Vuitton bags and other accessories. Sorry to all the fans, but I find them tacky and don't like to walk around "covered" in labels.
7. Fashion for me is not an obsession but an inspiration and self-expression.

ReplyDeleteWell, apart from writing this blog, I'm also a journalist, editor and writer living currently in Athens. When working for English newspaper in Kyiv, Ukraine, I mostly wrote about entertainment and lifestyle - hence the topic of the blog. Now don't have a proper full time job here - so mostly freelancing and have lots of free time to spend)) And we met each other through heartifb I think :)
